The prevailing nentiment seemed to be a firm reliance upon the atonement of Christ. There were no transports of soul, no thrilling extacies in her denihbed ex perience, but her countenance spoke eloquently in every feature of a peace within which passed understanding. Upon one 8u!j;ct only did she express the least anxiety, and (hat wus the spirit ual welfare of her children, yet i.l nonage. These she earnestly commended to a covenant God, and besought her pastor to watch over them with ten der care.
