IiALEiGU, Nov. 3d, 1856. ) The Pressdeat ami Directors of the Literary Fund having made distribution of the net income of said Fund for the year lSoC, among the several Counties of the State lor Common Schools, have directed the following tabular statement to be published, showing the Spring and Full Distribution to each County, and the sum total distributed during the year. The am. .not of the Full I Mstriluition will be paid to the persons entitled to the same, on application to the Treasury Department. The Counties of Jackson, Madison, Yadkin. I'olk, Harnett and Wilson will receive their portion out of the amount distributed from the Counties out of whieh they were respectively formed. It sill be o has r led that certain amounts are deducted from the portion of School Fund duo to Counties having pupils nt the X. C. Institution for the Deaf. Dumb and Blind, those Counties not baring paid the tax for their pupils to the Public Treasurer of the State ns now reunited by law. The Board respectfully call the attention of the. Justices of the several Counties, from the shares of which deductions are made for pupils at the Institution fair the Deaf, Dumb and Blind, to the law requiring them to levy a tax for the support of their said pupil", uud that thev me liable to indictment for not doing so.
