died yesterday afternoon at 4:30
after a long illness with Brights
discease. The funeral service

Creek church and he was laid to
rest. Relatives and friends have
the sympathy of the entire com
munity in their bereavement.

MRS. LORAINTHA BELVIN.
Mrs. E. W. Belvin died Sunday
morning about 6 o'clock at her
home on Shepherd street.
She had been ill with peritonitis
sometime and her death was ex
pectcd. Peritonitis was the
cause. The funeral services
were held yesterday afternoon
from the house and Rev. Messrs.
Barbee and Bradshaw officiated.
She was seventy years old and
leaves a family of four girls and
one boy.
DEATH OF DAVID SWITZER.
David Switzcr, 15-year-old son
of Mark Switzer, proprietor of
theTeople's Store, died at the
home of his father on Pine street
Sunday morning about six
o'clock. Typhoid fever was the
cause of his death and he had
been confined to his home about
four weeks.
The burial took place in the
Hebrew cemetery Sunday.
