Miss Carlisle had been ill with
several days but kept to her
work through the Saturday et.'ter
noon matinee and the evening
performances. She came here
Sunday with the company but
was unable to take her lines last
night and was sent to the hos
pital. Though too early to indicate
how malignant is the type of
fever, the physician feels that
care was exercised early enough
to make the case mild.
