NOTICE IS hereby given, th.it on the 12th day of Dec-m-ber next, the Commissioners Heeled according to the Act of Assembly removing the Court House in the County of Montgomery passed at its last Session, will proceed to sell to the lrghest bidder the lots in the Town of Troy, which bus been laid orl'and established as Ihe location and site of the Public Building in and for said County. Troy is situated on the rn-in Market Road leading from Salisbury to Fayelteville, lhreo miles west of LiUle River, arid ab ut twenty-two miles from Stokes' Ferry, on the Yadkin. The situation ol the Towii is beautiful; finely watered and remarkably healthy, and affords ireal inducement lo persons wishing to settle themselves in a village likely to become prosperous and flourishing, to attend and purchase lots. One yeai's credit will be given for one half of the purchase money, and two years for the bal ance f the purchasers giving bond and approved security. On the same day, and at the same place, will lie Jet to the lowest bidder, the building of a two story Court House, of wood, 56 feel in length, and 42 fe t in width, the plan and specificat on of which in de tail will be made known on the day aforesaid. Bond and appioved security will be required from the undertaker, conditioned tor ihe faithful and work manlike performance of his contract of good ma terials, and within the time prescribed and agieed upon. There is an inexhaustible supply of the best long leaf timber convenient to the Town of Troy, and my be bad upon the cheapest terms. It is propos ed 10 make the payments for the erection of the said buildinir as speedily and punctual as my be. The terms r.nd times of which payments will be made known on the day of sale. Good workmen wishing to undertake a profita ble job will do well to attend. The sale of the lots will be continued from day to day until all, or a suf ficient number of them are sold.
