J The President and directors of the Literary Fund, having made distribution of the nett annual income of said Fund lor the year 1851 among the several Counties of the State for the support of Common Schools, have directed the following Tabular Statement to be published, showing the Federal population of each County, the Spring and Fall distribution, and the sum total distributed during the year. The Counties of Jackson, Madison, and Yadkin, w ill receive their portion of the amount distrib uted from the Counties from which they were respectively formed. U5G-tf REGULAR LIN 51, a J The Cape Fear Steamboat Company's Steamer CHATHAM will run regularly between Wil mington and Fayetteville, commencing on Mon day the 27th instant leaving Fayetteville every Monday and Thursday at 9 o'clock, a. in., and arriving at Wilmington same evening: giving passengers going north an opportunity to take the cars next morning at 9 o'clock. And leave Wilmington on Tuesdays and Fridays, at 2 o'clk, p. m., giving passengers by the cars, -which ar rive at Wilmington at 1 o'clock, daily, an oppor tunity to take the Boat to Favettevitle. The Steamer GOV. GRAHAM, with the Tow Boats belonging to the line, will run in connex ion with the Chatham, making one or more trips a week, as circumstances may require. Passengers and freighters-may rely upon the the above arrangement. It is hoped that the necessary expenses to be incurred by this ar rangement w ill be rewarded by an increased pat ronage; otherwise, a loss will probably be sus tained by the Company, which w ill lead to a dis continuance of regular time of running.
