See what it has done on a wasted constitution, not only in the following cases, but a thousand more : Si iniiiiT, Jan. 24th, 1851. Dr. Aver : In the month of July last I was attacked by a violent diarrhea in the mines of California. I re turned to San Francisco in hope of receiving lenefit from a change of climate and diet. My diarrhoea ceas ecTTbut was followed by a severe cough and much soreness. I finally started for borne, but received no benefit from the voyage. My cough continued to grow worse, and when I arrived in New J. ork. I was at once marked by my acquaintances as a victim of consump tion. I must confess that I saw no sufficient reason to doubt what my friends all believed. At this time I commenced taking your truly invaluable medicine with little expectation of deriving any benefit from its use. You would not receive these lines did I not re gard it my duty to state to the afflicted, through yon, that my health" in the space of eight months, is fullv restored. I attribute it to the nsc of your Cherry Pec toral, i ours truly. WILLIAM W. SMITH. Washin-cjtox, Pa., April 12, 1S48.
