Hint to the itrls.
Did you ever see a lady
Look into a stranger's face,
In an omnibns or rail car,
As if saying "Sir your place?"
Did you ever see a lady
Walk up to the church pew door,
Lace and ribbons all demanding
"Yield your pew!" and nothing more?
Did yon ever see a lassie
Flirt into an-old man's chair,
And unheeding age and honor,
Let hiui stand no matter where?
Never see the stage coach emptied
For some fidget in her pride,
And the weary man of business
Tumbled out to ride outside!
Never go to hear a lecture,
When some fashionable dear
Would come in and make: a bustle
When you most "desired to hear?
Iiouting half the congregation,
And disturbing all the rest,
As if she was all creation,
Being fashionably dressed.
Now dear girls, if you're so thankless,
So exacting and so free,
Time will come when gents will answer,
"Ma'am, this seat belongs to me."
Never, girlJ, disturb a lecture,
Church or ba'.J, where'er you go
Still respect the rights of others,
This is "Woman's Rights," you know.
Never ask a man abruptly
To resign his chosen place
If 'tis offered, thank him kindly,
"With a smile upon your face.
If the road is long and weary,
And he cannot find another,
Bid him share the comfort with yon,
As you'd share it with a brother.
Thus you may receive forever,
Given with a spirit free,
True respect, and love and kindness,
Better far than gallantry.

In attributing such valuable Medical properties to
this remedy, no rash or unwarrantable assertion is
made, but is simply stated a fact; proven undeniably
and conclusively bv the exlraordinarv cures, and bene
fits derived from its use. under the direction of its
illustrious origiua or. lr. Hoofland. among all classes j
of European societies and from the immense mass of j
testimony, from all parts of the American continent,' j
accumulated during the last ten years, in the hands j
of the present proprietor. Th prevalence of diseases!
to which the German Bitters are adapted, it is with
sorrow we say it. is almost -universal, indeed there is !
scarcely a family throughout the whole extent of our
country in which there cannot be found among its
members that peculiar xa'otr and languid appearance I
denoting a diseased Liver, or an emaciated and suffer
ing Dyspeptic.
Then of w hat immense importance to this class of
invalids that a certain and reliable remedy should be
placed within their reach; one iu which no baneful or
injurious drug enters into its composition: a remed v
on which the patient can rely with the utmost confi
dence and certainty and be assured from actual and
tangible proofs, that the article he is lisin.r renllv
possesses the virtues attributed to it. Such a' remedy
is '-Honlami's German Hitters." Thousands of dol

sion throughout all parts of this continent, and the
proprietor feels the greatest satisfaction in stating,
that there is no state, county or even village w here the
Medicine has been introduced, that there cannot be
found numbers, willing to testify to its virtues.
It is used constantly in the practice of a lage number
of the most prominent Physicians in the countrv. who
have also added their written testimony, in evidence of
its great virtues. In conclusion then, we would re
