Earthly Dreams. There never was an earthly dream Of beauty and delight, That mingled not too soon with clouds. As son-rays with the night; That faded not from that fond heart, Where once it loved to stray And left that heart more desolate, For having felt its sway. There never was a glad bright eye, But it was dimmed with tears, Caused by such griefs as ever dnll The sunshine of our years; We look npon the swaetest flower 'Tis withered soon and gone; We gaze npon a star, to find But darkness where it shone. There .never was a noble heart, A mind of worth and power, That hajd not in this chan ging world, Pain-, misery, for its dower; The laurel on the brow hath hid From many a careless eye The secret of the soul within, Its blight and agony. There never was there cannot be On earth a precious spring', Whose waters to the fevered ?ip, Unfailing we may bring; All changeth on this troubled shore; Or passeth from the sight Oh! for that world where joy and peace Reign as eternal light! In tbe fore part of this year, my wife had several small lumps to make their appearance in her breast ; they continued to increase in size, until the whole breast became a diseased mass, and very painful. I procured the best medical aid in the city of Rome, and notwithstanding the earnest and laithtul attention ot the most ssiltul physicians, she continued to grow worse and worse until they gave the case up as incurable, and advised amputation. I was advised by luany of my friends, to visit Dr. W. R. WE would call the attention of persons afflicted with Chills and Fevers to this celebrated Pill, which owes its popularity to- no puffing, nor to long, windy certificates but solely to its own merits as a remedy which never fails to cure when taken according to directions accompanying each box. This Pill unlike many others, contains no mineral, nor any injurious ingredient, and may be administered with perfect safe ty at all times, to young ar old. As a preventative against Chills, or any other type of Fever, it is recommended as unsurpassed; and in treatment of Fevers generally it is far superior to Quinine, or any preparation of Peruvian bark.
