Ileadaohes may be clas sified under tvo names, viz : Symptomatic and Iilio pathie. Symptomatic Headache is exceedingly com mon and is the precursor of a great variety of viiseas e among which are Apoplexy, Gout. Rheumatism and all febrile diseases In its nervous form it is sympa thetic of diseases of the stomach constituiing sick headache, of hepatic disease constituting billious head ache, of wiruis, constipation and other disjplers of the bowels, as well as renal and uterine artections. Diseases of the heart are very frequently alien. ed with headache.; Auieuiia plethora arc also aiieeJifm which freqnivUy,c.easion headache, I iiopalbie head ache is abo very common, being usually distinguished by the name of nervous headache, sometimes coming on suddenly in a stale of apparently sound health and prostrating at once the mental and physical energies, and in other instances it comes slowly, horaled by de pression of spirits or acerbity of temper. In most instances the pain is in-the front of the head. over one or both eyes, and sometimes provoking vomiting; un der this class inav also be named Neuralgia. For the treatment of either class of headache the Cephalic Pills have been found a sure and sale reme dy, relieving the most acute pains in a few minutes, and by its subtle power erJaicaling tliediseeses of which the headache is the unerring index. Among the lighter evils oi" which costiveness is the usual attendant are Headache. Colic, Rheuma tism, Foul Breath.
