It is stated that the Yankecs.several thousand strong, advanced to Black- wateri Ford on Thursday evening, driving back our J 'pickets, and holding possession of the lord, until early yesterday morning, wh?n their force was divi: ded a 'portion gofng in the direction of Franklin; and the balance moving towards , Ivor station.
