Be it further enacted, That the Guard for home defence, should; thcy be called into ser vice by the Governor, shall receive the same pay, rations and allowances as soldiers in the Confede rate States' service, and; shall be subject to the rules aad articles of war of the Confederate States. Sec. 7. Be it further enacted, That when the pressure of public danger shall not prevent the'ob- servance of such a rule , the said Guard for home defence shall not be called into service en masse, but by drafts of a number of jnen from each con venient company, so as to make up the aggre gate force required. ,'.''' !
