Report Committee Investigating and N. C. Ralli-eatf, and Other New from tha State Capital. Raleigh, N. C, May 23, 1G04. The report of the special commit tee, which has been investigating th physical and financial condition and management of the State's rail road, has been in the hands of the Governor since last Thursday even ing. But it will not be released lo the press for publication until . to morrow (Tuesday). However, through the courtesy of Gov. While it is impracticable to attempt a full synopsis ot the entire report and evidence within the limited scope of this correspondence, I will refer as far as . practicable to some of the more interesting portions of it. Those who are minded to wade through the labyrinths of the entire report can procure copies of the sup plements to the Raleigh morning papers which will be printed this week.
