Words From Home Statements That May Be In vestigated. Testimony of Graham Citizens. When a Graham citizen comes to the front, telling his friends and neighbors of his experience, you can rely on his sincerity. The statements of people residing in .far away places do not command yoar confidence. Home endorse ment is the kind that backs Doan's Kidney Pills. Such testimony is convincing. Investigation proves it true. Below is a statement of -a' Graham resident. No stronger proof of merit can lie had. J. C. Moore, Maple St., Graham, N. 0., says: "Doan's Kidney Pills are the best medicine to use when the kidneys are in bad shape. My kidneys were irregular and I had backaches. C. Service by publication. Again as to Senator Simmons. Uorsespondenoa of Ta a Oliahir For thp encouragement of your readers, I enclose a clipping (printed elsewhere) from the New ton Enterprise. It is not strange that the West should recognize the claims of Senator Simmons to succeed himself in the Sonate. It is not strange Xhat, with their love of fair play, these sturdy moun taineers should condemn the un justifiable and bitter warfare that is being waged Against Mr. Sim mons. In addition to these con siderations, Locke Craig, the peculiar favorite of the West, is for Mr. Simmons, and this will count. Perhaps Mr. Craig and Mr. Simmons are drawn together by the bond of a common distress, for it is said that the Democracy of Mr. Craig, like that of Mr. Simmons, has been weighed in the same balances and found wanting. It is to be hoped that the De mocracy of these two great North Carolitiians will, in the coming election, receive such an endorse ment and establishment as never more to be brought in question. By the way, we are all to be weighed. Our Democracy is to bo subjected to the severest test, and if it falls short even to the extent of scratching a Township Con stable, we will not be permitted to" vote in the primary. Why this weighing? The people will find out. From many accounts Mr. Sim mons is strong and gaining in other parts of the State, lie soemj to be gaining steadily, distinctly gaining right here in Alamance, which in the State Convention cast all of its vote on the Bide of the Kitchin forces. This in spite of the fact that there have been no public speakings or blast of trumpets on the side of Mr. Sim mous. The people only need the facts, and these they are getting. Mrs. Peter Ilolan, 11501 Buck eye Rd., Cleveland,O., says: "Yes, indeed, I can recommend Foley's Honey And Tar Compound. My little boy had a bad case of whoop ing cough, somo iimea he was blue in the face. I gave him Foley's Honey ami Tar Compound, and it had a remarkable effect and cured him in a short time."
