Indications aro that about 100 farmers will make fhis Light refreshments will be served at the various farms where we will ht one dairy farmer, whose place we expect to visit, will give away a registered Jersey calf to those on the tour. One nurseryman we expect to vis it plans to give an apple or peach tree or some shrub to each one who visits his farm during the tour. The tour will start at the farm of John on Highway No. 62, just North of Haw River, at 8:00 a. m ., sharp, on Wednesday, August 18th. The night will be spent, at the Eli Whitney School. A very interesting program has been arranged for, on the evening 0 f the 18th —moving pictures, mu sic furnished by Snow Camp String Band and other features. • The Burlington- Kiwanis Clubi will join the farmers in their even ing program at Eli Whitney School.
