So far 29 states have voted?all in favor of repeal, leaving only seven more to make the three-fourths neces sary. Upon tobacco sales ware houses taking a holiday, ma chinery was set in motion to re lieve the situation and the mat ter taken up with the authori ties'in Washington. A plan has been worked out for acreage re duciion whsch is favorably re ceived, and the prospect is that warehouses will soon open again. There is strong intimation that there will be reasonable iutlatiou of tho circulating me dium. Some economists have come to the conclusion that there is not enough money in circulation to carry on the busi ness of the country. This no tion appears to be gaining in favor and is not looked upon with antagonism in official cir cles in Washington. That recovery may come surely and steadily it is vitally important that NRA should have the support of everybody? manufacturer, producer aud consumer. It is not a class af fair; it is an honest effort to get the whole country back on its feet.
