On FridYyevening, from 8 :30 to 11:30 a most delightful Valentine party was given to her many friends by Miss Nellie Whitfield at the home uf her father on Clegg street. The invitations which had been previous ly sent out were of a heart design and very neatly gotten up in Valen tine colors. The decorations were very tasty and were composed of red and the hofl4e,88' wore a beautiful gown of red that matched beautifully with the decorations. The most inter st ing of the amusements was about twenty goegraphical questions. Mr. K. G. Winstead, answering all re ceived the. prize, a box of candy wljich was presented by Mr. G. L. Cooke in -his, usual graceful manner The refreshments consisted of Wld. orf, salad, nabisco wafers and hot chocolate which were greatly en joyed by all present.
