guests to an enjoyable Ashing picnic
given by Mr. Walter Cooke at Clif
ton's pond yesterday. Many friends
enjoyed this picnic. Mr. L. E. Wins
ton and Mr. G. N. Stell toured to
Rocky Mount on last Sunday , and wo
await one more trip to determine the
result of Mr. Winston's frequent
visits. Mr. and Mrs. Farbo, of Stem
visited Mr. J. W. Woodlief in Younge
ville last week.
Our club is named. On last Thurs
day night the envelopes -containing the
names which had been coming in for
the past two weeks were opened and
(ho following name was selected after
several ballots were made: The
Youngsvillc Industrial Club. Much
Interest was shown in the selecting of
this name and much active Interest
has been demonstrated since the or
ganization of this club a month ago.

different appearance and it is hoped
by next Friday night Youngsvilie will

The draraatfc play Dot given by
home talent in the Youngsvilie Graded
school auditorium on last Friday night

is to br a home coming service at the
Christian church here on the 4th Sun

many speeches and dinner.
