The food administration has issued an Interesting statement in which we can see the result of the food econo mies effected by our wheatless and meatless days. July 1st, 1917, the wheat available for export was estimated at 20,000,000 bushels. In the period from that date I to June 1st, 1918, our shipments of wheat to the allies amounted to 120, 000,000 bushels. The largest shipment of beef pro ducts in any one month during this period has been 87,000,000 pounds, against tbe ordinary export of 1,040, 000 to 2,000,000 pounds a month.
