An Act of the General Assembly of North Carolina, Session of 1919. entitled "An Act ? to,, Provide Good Roads in Harris Township, Franklin County," being House Bill No. 279. Senate BUI No. 341, ratified the 11th day of Feb ruary, 1919, and upon the petition of the duly appointed and constituted Township Road Commission of Harris* Township. The Board of Commissioners for the County of Franklin does hereby order an election to be held on Sat urday, April 12th., 1919, in said town submitted to the qualified voters of Harris township the issuance of $50,000.00 of Road Bonds of said town ship, and the levy of a special tax to provide for the payment of Interest and create a sinking fund for the pay ment of said bonds, for the purpose of providing and constructing good roads in said township umtef the terms aud provisions of said special act of the General Assembly. Said bonds shall run for a period of thirty years from date and shall bear six i per cent per annum interest, payable semi-annually.
