FRANKLIN COUNTY FAIR LOUISBURG, N. C. OCTOBER 14, 15, 16, 17, 18th, Tuesday. Oct. 14th, the Franklin County Fair will throw its gates open to the public and the largest crowd in the history of the Fair will be there. The Fair will be opened by the President, Hon. B. T. Holden, at eleven o'clock, and he will introduce Lieut. Gov. 0. Max Gardner, who will deliver the opening address. All exhibits should be brought to the Fair Ground Monday, Oct. l-'tth, ana all stock and poultry should be brought Tuesday, Oct. 14th, before 9:30 o'clock. All stock and poultry will be fed and cared for by the Fair Association. ? . x The best show? seen anywhere in the South will be at the Franklin County Fair and a whole week of fun and amusement is promised. - - The largest airplane seen in this section of the State will be at the Fair and will carry passengers. There will be flights each day and you will have the pleasure of seeing the most wonderful feats "ever accomplished by an ?I* ^ * airplane. -1 ?' ? v * ' ' ' i* ' 4 k" \: ? Bring your exhibits early Monday and help make the Fair one of which you will bp proud. The shows will be the most enjoyable seen on any Midway and the Ferris Wheel, Merry-Go-Round, Ocean Wave and Whip will afford amusement for all.. ?:* ? ' Don't forget the dates and tell all your friends to meet yyou at the Fair. We will need fifty men and boys to work on the shows and collect tickets. Report to A. H. Tlie Grand Parade of marshals, officers, decorated vehicles and floats will form at the corner of1" Church and Nasll streets at 10 o'clock. "On tlfts day all returned soldiers in uniform will be admitted free. Wednesday, October 15th. Educational, Day with big paraile of all school child ren in the County. Children under 12 years of aire, if in this parade, admitted free. Over 12 years of age, 23 cents admission. Thursday, October 16th. Agricultural l)av. It will consist of the big stock pa rade, of driving horses, cattle, terming machinery, trac tors, etc. Friday. October 17th. "Will be Soldiers' Day. On this day, every returned soldier in uniform will be the guest of the* Franklin County Fair. One of the bi_g features of this day, will be the soldiers' parade, under the direction of Major S.. P. Boddie. Saturday, October 18th. Special for colored people. Big school parade. Chil dren under l'J years of age admitted free, if in this pa rade.- All others 25 cents.
