BE IT ORDAINED:
Section 1. That It shall "be unlaw
ful for any person, firm or corpora
tion to keep, within the corporate lim
its of the town of Louisburg, swine
in a pen or other lnclosure within four
hundred feet of any dwelling house
or of any room used by any person
for sleeping purposes, and each day
the same are so kept shall constitute
a separate offense.
Sec. 2. That any person, firm or
corporation violating the provisions
of this ordinance shall bo subject to
a penalty of twenty dollars, for each
offense.
Sec. 3. That It shall be the duty of
the Chief of Police to report to this
Board at every regular meeting there
of whether there has been any viola
tion of this ordinance.
Sec. 4. That this ordinance shall
be In force and effect from and after
its passage. "
Sec. 5. That this ordinance be pub
lished once a week for tour succes
sive weeks In the Franklin Times and
a copy thereof posted at the door of
the town hall and three other public
places In the town.
