In Loulsburg for the time of year, .still
holding Its lead with good prces and

-rlnformatlon Is given tho Franklin
Times that the Republican Executive
Committee met in Loulsburg during
the holidays and recommended Mrs.
Mary 8. Hight for postmaster at
Youngsvllle.
? ?
? Chairman J. A. Mltchlner has an
nounced that the Ben mguTai Cuuuly
meeting of the Cooperative Associa
tions of Franklin County will be held
in the Court House in Loulsburg on
Saturday morning, January 26th, 1924
at 11 o'clock. At this meeting It is
expected that many important and in
teresting questions, including fertili
zer, will be discussed. All members,
especially delegates, are urged to be
present on time.
? ?
? We would suggest to the Woman's
Club, which always has an enthusias
tic civic pride, to create a public sen
timent sufficiently strong that it will
have its effect In keeping our streets
clean In the business part of town.
To have the drive way of the streets
swept every day adds very little to the
neat and clean appearance whon the
sidewalks are used for storage, dis
play and sales stands. Unless the
sidewalks can be kept more clean It
would be better not to clean the drive
ways? the contrast will not be so
great.

The Other Man -Will Save ~
Your Money If You Don't
It is easy to spend money ; in many instancess it is wise.
Penurious saving is not thrift. A man who will deny
his family or himself the necessities and comforts of
life is not a thrifty individual.
However, there is a thought quite worthy of your con
sideration :
A DOLLAR NEVER RESTS UNTIL IT IS SAVED.
Money will travel until it reaches the hands of a saver.
Many of your dollars are now drawing interest in an
other .nan 's savings account.

THE UNIVERSAL CAR
Looking Ahes|d
LAST Spring a total of 350,000 people were disappointed in
not being able to obtain deliveries of Ford Cars and Trucks,
as orders were placed faster than cars could be produced.
The demand for Ford Cars and Trucks this Spring will, accord
ing to all indications, be far greater than last Spring.
Winter buying has been increasing at a greater rate than ever
before.
Actual retail deliveries the past 60 days
totaled 308,170 Ford Cars and Trucks, an
increase of 1,961 a day over a year ago.
Over 20QJDOO people have already ordered Ford products on
our purchase plan, the majority of whom will take delivery in
the Spring.
The above facts are given with the suggestion that you list your
order promptly with a Ford dealer if you contemplate the pur
chase of a Ford Car or Truck for use this Spring or Summer and
wish to avoid delay in delivery.
