THE TOWN OF LOUISBCBG, N. C.
TO ISSUE ?J*000.00 WATER
BONDS.
Be It Ordained by the Board of Com
missioners of the Town of Louis
burg, N. C.
Section 1. That under and pursu
ant to the Municipal Finance Act, the
town of Louisburg, N. C. do issue its
bonds for the purpose of Improving
and enlarging the present existing
Water Works system of said Town.
Section 2. That the maximum ag
gregate principal amount of the bonds
shall bee (45,000.00.
Section 3. That a tax sufficient to
pay the principal and interest of the
BondB shall be annually levied and
collected.
Section 4. That a statement of the
debt of the municipality has been filed
with the Clerk and is open for public
inspection.
Section 5. That this ordinance shall
take effect thirty days after its first
publication, unless in the meantime a
petition for its submission to the vo
ters is filed under the Municipal Fi
liatlt? Act, and that in such event. It
shall take effect when aproved by the
voters nf the municipality at an elec
tion as provided for in said Municpal
Finance Act.
The foregoing ordinance was pass
ed on the 21 day ot January. 1924, and
was first published on the 25th day of
January 1924.
Any action or proceeding question
ing the validity of said ordinance must
jbe crmmenced within thirty days af
ter its first publication.
