Home Economics Club The Home Economics Club met Friday, Dec. 6, 1935. The meet ing was called to order by the president the roll call and the minutes of last meeting were read and approved. The business was brought before the class. Miss Weaver said she though it would be nice for all of the members to send Mrs. Pearce, our former Home Economic teacher, a Christ mas card. She also showed us how to wrap Christmas packages so as to be most attractive. We planned a program for the next two meet ings. We then adjourned to meet Dec. 20, 1935. uoromy uupion, neponer. Reed has been teaching In her place (or the past week. Evelyn Faulkner, one ot our class-mates, has been in the hos pital for several weeks with ap pendicitis. We hope she will soon be able to Come back to school. Reporter. The Best Literary Society The Best Literary Society met Friday, December the sixth. The new members were initiated. After the Initiation there was some time left, and several of the girls said their readings. Reporter. Junior XewN The entire Junior Class is tak ing part in the Essay Contest. We hope too, that the winner will be from this class. Reporter. I Senior Ola** News The Seniors are planning to give the play "Here Comes Charlie" this year. It will be giv en after Christmas. We truly hope the Juniors haven't forgotten to give us a banquet. Reporter. Boys Basketball The boys basketball team have their new suits all ready now for a game Tuesday night. December 10th. We are going to play Ed ward Best in our own gynaslum. The suits are blue and we have sweat suits to match them.
