We were glad to have Mr. Miller visit us. Refreshments were served after the program. We drew names then because we are expecting to have a Christmas tree the last Friday before Christmas holidays. Mary Rose Club News Since our club members came back this Friday, we had a very interesting program, for we had more time to prepare It. Our members drew names to day for the Christmas tree we are going to have Friday, Decem ber 20. ? e Sport News We played Castalla High School Wednesday night, December 11. Our boys and girls won. We are very proud of our team. The basketball team of girls this year are as follows: Hazel Bunn, Sue D. Creedmore and Agnes Leonard, forwards; Vivian Gupton, Elsie Gupton. and Amy Creekmore. guards; Ruth Alford,1 Corlne Smith, * Richel Sykes and Nellie Southall, substitutes. The boys players are: Marshall Smith. Russell Lancaster. Ronda Gupton, willard Wilder, Carl Rice I Robert W. Harris. Cleamon Pearce. Daniel Inscoe. Grady Wheeler and I. J. White. We won another game yester-| day playing with Castalia boys also. We are so proud of our new suits. It won't be long before we have our athletic equipment com pleted including our gymnasium.
