The hereinafter listed property in good faith as assets of the Citixens A Com
mercial Bank of Franklinton, N. C., but does not warrant title thereto and will
sell all of said notes and Judgments, without recourse, subject to any and all equities
and defenses which may be plead against the same, including all equities and right
of offset, which embraces the right and duty of the Commissioner of Banks, and
or his Agents to withhold any and all dividends on debtors claims, or other bills
against the Commissioner of Banks presented by debtors to said bank and apply
the same to reduce the loss or losses sustained on their respective evidences of
indebtedness, and | or interest on either, and is subject to application of such credits
prior to or after delivery of the assets to the purchaser thereof.
The hereinafter listed assets are subject to correction, application of <fedlta
and increases on account of advances or other legitimate charges, and are also
subject to prior sale or settlement. The undersigned rqperves the right to sell the
various items of assets. Item by item, in parcels, and [ or as a whole, right Is also
reserved to reject or accept any or all bids in said sale. The highest bidders will
be required to deposit 10% of the amount of their bids at the time of sale as a
guarantee of performance and bidding on no part of said properties will be deem
ed closed until such bidders have compiled with this requirement.
Any and all bids made pursuant to the advertisement are subject to confirm
ation by the Superior Court of Franklin County, North Carolina.
After the sale is completed, on the date as advertised, the undersigned re
serves the right to designate a day on which a report of the sale will be presented
to the Court for its consideration and confirmation and at the same time advise
all bidders with respect to upset bids, which might be entered subsequent to com
pletion of the sale and prior to date of confirmation.

Notice is hereby given to the shareholders of The
First National Bank of Louisburg, North Carolina,
that a meeting of the shareholders will be held in an
office on the second floor of the old First National
Bank Building, in Louisburg, North Carolina, on
the 28th day of July, 1936, at 3 o'clock, P. M. for
the purpose of electing an agent to whom the assets
of the bank will be transferred and delivered in ac
cordance with the provisions of Section 3 of the Act
of Congress entitled "An Act authorizing the ap
pointment of Heceivers of National Banks and for
other purpose's," approved June 30, 1876, and of
the Acts amendatory thereto approved August 3,
1892 and March 2, 1897 (incorporated in the United
States Code as Title 12, Section 197) or for the
purpose of continuing the receivership in accord
ance with the provisions of the last named Act.
