Louisburg College To Open President A. D. Wilcox, an nounces Louisburg College opens on Wednesday. September 9 for the school year of 1936-3 7. The advanced room reservation 1, twenty percent larger 'tan that of last year at this time and the indications are that the school will be filled to capacity. The first public convocation meets at the Methodist Church at 10 o'clock. Thursday morning. September 10th. ? The following additions to the faculty have been selected with meat care from many applica "??r: i u Moon, instructor of Voice' Mr. Moon has a diploma in Voice from Wichita University. Wichita. Kansas., and the M. a. degree from the University of Kentucky. He has studied vo><* with Herman Devries and Her bert Miller of the Bush Conser vatory and also with Dan Beddoe of the Cincinnati Conservatory. He has attended the Chrlsllanson summer session for choral direc tors Mr Moon was teacher of Voice and Director of the en semble groups in Asbury College, Wllmore. Kentucky. Mrs. I. D. Moon. Instructor of Home Economics. Mrs. Moon haa the B S. degree in Home Econo mic from Wichita University. High School Instructor and Director of Publicity. Mr. Malllaon has the A B. degree from Atlantic Chris tian College and the M. 8. decree from N. C. State College. He Is completing work oif the Ph. D. degree at Cornell University. Mr David G. March. Coach * Instructor of Physical Education for Men. Mr. March la a graduate of the School of Phyalcal Educa tion of Purnell University. He Is now working on hla Master a de gree at Purnell and was aasistant instructor in teaching physical education claaaea and in coaching. He has coached Freahman \ arslty football and basketball teams at Purnell University. Mr Tilman Lockard. Inatructor of Industrial Arta. Mr. Lockard is a graduate of the Eaatern H linois Teachers College with the degree of Bachelor of Education. This degree covers course* in In dustrial Arts and Vocational Edu cation. He was prealdent of the Epallon PI Tau, National Honor ary Fraternity In Industrial Arts and Vocation Education. He made high scholarships honors during the present school year. Mrs. Beaaye B. Bradaha* Nurse-Housekeeper. Mrs. Brad shaw has the A. B. and B. 8. de grees from Queens-Chlcora Col lege, Charlotte, N. C. She haa done post graduate work at Win thrope College and the Woman s College of the University of N. C Mrs. Bradshaw haa been an aasistant In the honaekeeplng de partments in Queens-Chlcora, Wlnthrope, and Converse Col leges. She worked under the sup ervision of Clemaon College and Wlnthrope College for two years in the giving of First Aid and nursing.
