We adjourhed to meet again Friday, November 8. Chapel News The Oold Sand Chapter of the Beta Club held its installation service in Chapel on Monday morning. Randolph Denton read the Bible and gave the Ideals of the Beta Club. Immediately fol lowing this Doris Pearce gave the history of the Beta Club of North and South Carolina. Candles were presented to the new members who were then asked to come to th4 stage, where their candles were lighted by Randolph Denton as president symbolising the knowledge to be passed on to new members. With lighted candles the pledges repeated the Beta Club after the President. Membership cards and certificate were present ed to the new members. After this a song was sung. O Beta Club, by the new members. This installed Into the Beta Club over eleven new members. Emily Dark. Reporter. Arts and Craft Cowroe Mrs. Clark. Instructor in Arts and Craft of the Art Center in Raleigh, is conducting a class' that has appealed to many of our Franklin women. A delegation composed of Mesdames Phil In scoe, Spencer Dean.
