ENTERTAINS Franklinton. ? At the nome of Mrs. Jones Cannady, Miss Eliza beth Cannady and Mrs. C. B. Cannady gave a lovely birthday party to little Imogene Cannady in celebration of her fourth birth day. Imogene is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Cannady. and liiece of Miss Elizabeth Cannady. A beautiful birthday cake with four tiny candles adorned the center of the dluing table, around which the guest were gathered after their various games. Ice cream, cake, candy and salted nuts were served and attractive favors given each little guest. BIRTHDAY On Sunday, Sept. 17th, Mrs. Annie Goswick was given a boun tiful dinner on her 82nd birthday by her children, neices, nephews, brothers and friends. They ga thered at the home of her son, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Goswick. The table was spread under the big oak tree with barbecue, brunswick stew, chicken, cake, pies, pickle and ice tea.
