Tuck, Negro Coun ty Agent) Two demonstration in the thin ? ning of forest trees were held in the county t<his week. These de monstrations were held on the farms Of Moses Hill, Route 3j, Franklinton and Dock Gooch. Route 3, Loulsburg. The purpose of these demonstrations was to give the farmers practical knowl edge in cutting their timber, so as to use t'heir crooked and diseas ed trees for fire wood and save their better trees for other pur i poses. Tobacco Short Course For the benefit of the Negro tobacco growers in North Caro lina, a tobacco short course has been planned at A. & T. College, Greensboro, N. C., January 23rd., through 26th.
