A special election will be held
between 7 A. M. and Sunset, Tues
day, February 20, 1940, at which
there will be submitted to the
qualified voters ot the Town of
Youngsvllle tihe following ques
tions: ? -
1. Shall all ordinance passed 1
January 18, 1940, authorizing not!
exceeding $16,000 bonds of thej
Town of Youngsvllle for constrnc-i
ting a waterworks "system for said
Town, and a tax for said bonds,
be approved?
2. Shall an ordinance passed
January 18, 1940, authorizing not
exceeding $12,000 bonds of the
Town of Youngsvllle for construc
ting a sanitary sewer system for
said Town, and a tax for said
bonds, be approved?
Each of the two quesMons here
inabove set forth contains a state
ment of the purpose for which the
bonds are authorized by the ordi
I nance referred to in such ques
tion.
If said bonds are issued, a lax
will be levied for the payment of
the principal and' interest* thereof 1
on all taxable property in the
Town of Youngsvllle.
For said election the regular
registratlon books for elections In
said Town shall be used and such
books shall be open for the reg
istration of voters not theretofore
registered, from 9 A. M. until sun
set! on each day except Sundays
and holidays, beginning Saturday, '
January 27, 1940 and closing Sat
urday, February 10, 1940. On
each Saturday during said period ;
said books shall remain open at
the polling place.

Section 1. That t'he Town of 1
Youngsville issue its bonds pur- <
suant to the Municipal Finance
Act, as amended, in an amount <
not exceeding $12,000 far the 1
purpose of constructing a sanitary j 1
sewer system for said Town. <
Section 2. That a tax suffic
ient to pay the principal and in
terest of said bonds shall be an- ,
nually levied and collected. ?
Section 3. That a statement
of the debt of the Town has been
* filed with the Clerk and is open
to public inspection.
Section 4. That this ordinance
shall take effect when approved
by the voters of the Town at an
election as provided by law.
The foregoing ordinance was
passed on the 18th day of Janu
ary, 1940 and was first published
on the 19th day of January, 194b.
Any action or proceeding ques
tioning the validity of said ordi

thirty days after its first publica
