Representatives of Agencies and members of the Township, and County Committees of the Agricultural Conservation pro gram met in Mr. W. R. Mill's of- j flee Saturday morning. September! 14. for the purpose of developing a unified Agriculturdl program. Representative of each Agency j in a short talk expressed a desire and need for all Agencies to co ordinate their programs to ren der a better service and to carry I out valuable objectives. Two objectives approved at conference were <1> to promote! seeding of 10.000 acres of small < grains to be harvested with com-j bine, and (2) to promote new I seeding of lO.'lioO acres of annual lespedeza. To accomplish this goal each farmer in Franklin County Is urged to seed for har vest with combine or thrasher 1.0 acre of wheat, oat? or barley for each 3.0 acres of corn seeded this summer, or each family in Frank Mn County Including owner, oper ator and teuant families to re seed 3.0 acres of wheat, oats or barley to be combined or thrash ed. The lespedeza goal may be accomplished by interplantlng les pedeza in the small grains during j March and April.
