C. t Describing Ihe push button age In which we are living, Mrs. Hicks, a fifth grade teacher at Norlina, pointed out the ease of living in this era of automation, the. errors made by the robots, the use of teaching machines; and drawing a vivid picture of the life of the Great Teacher, she urged the members of the teaching profession to remem ber that the greatest advan tage of a human teacher is the ability to understand and to love Others. Mrs. Francis Ricks, of Lit* tleton, president, presided at the luncheon. Following the blessing given by Miss Eliza beth Johnson, of Louisburg, Mrs. Ricks welcomed the mem bers. Mrs. Alice Marie peedln, of Henderson, the XI Chapter Louisburg College Scholarship recipient, was introduced by Miss Elizabeth Johnson.
