Epsom Lions Hold Ladies Night Thurs. Ladles Night was held Thurs day evening at the meeting of the Epsom Lion's Club In the Assembly Hall of the Liberty Christian Church. Rev. Willis Joiner, pastor of Liberty Church and president of the Epsom Lions, presided at the dinner meeting. The Men's Choir of the First Methodist Church of Henderson, under the direction of Mr. Hart well Hlght, returned thanks In song. Just before dessert the]) rendered a group of sacred songs . A quartet , selected from the choir, sang several num bers, some of which were on the lighter side and Mr. Hlght sang "How Great Thou Art." Miss Rebecca Oakley, soloist, accompanied the choir In sev eral selections. Mrs. Nella Holden was pianist. The choir was composed of Messrs. E. C. Edwards, W. H. Stalnback, Don C. Tuttle, Hen ry , J. Lane, Billy S. Perry man, N. P. Moseley.Sam Brum mltt, C. R. White, Billy Thome, GUlUm Burleson, John Mabe, E. W? Holton, Billy Thompson, and leader Hartwell Hlght. Following the meal served by ladles of the community and the Epsom Fire Department, President Joiner entertained the group with stories of his experience. The ladles were recognized as guests; also Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Faulkner, Sr., guests of the president, Mr. and Mrs. Ira Weldon, guests of Mr. B. M. Newman, and Misses Adelaide and Elizabeth John son, guests of Mr. and Mrs. Julian Weldon. Announcements of an antique show being sponsored by the Zebulon Lions and visitations of some of the Epsom mem bers to other clubs were made.
