Ed Best Loses Two Bunn Tops Gold Sand In Non-conference Tilt In the opening game of Frank lin County basketball Tuesday night, the Bunn girls walloped the visiting Gold Sand girls, 47-9, Indicating the kind of year i Bunn expects to give the other teaips In the league. ? In the nightcap of the double header, the Bunn boys edged the Blue Devils 60-51. Gwen Ray led the winners' scoring with 14 points, and Susan Lancaster was high for Gold Sand with 6. Gwen Ray hit 14 for Bunn. Thomas Lewis led the Bull dogs with 22 points In the boys' game, and Duke Gupton was tops for the losers WKS .13. BUI Hlght had 12 points for Gold Sand as did Freddie Hoi ton for Bunn. The only other game Involv ing a county team was Edward Best at Middlesex In a pair In which Middlesex took both ends. Durham, Mass. -- Eight men have painted a 30 by 10-foot reproduction of Da Vinci's masterpiece, The Last Sup per. The mural graces a wall at the Norfolk County House of Correction and Jail. Only one of the eight men is left be cause the others were paroled before the paiaiting was com pleted. Boston? With the news that her car had been found, Mrs. Theresa Fancy acquired more trouble. . The car had been left In an underground garage for seventy-three days, and at $2.50 a day the storage lee of $182.50 had to be paid before the car could be released.
