Kennedy Promoted, Others Named At First Federal Savings and Loan Association'* annual shareholders anddlrectors meetings held yesterday, two promotions were made. Gra ham C. Kennedy was promoted from First Vice-President to Executive Vice-President and Treasurer. R. C. W Instead was promoted from Assistant Vice-President and Loan Offi cer to Vice-President and Loan Officer. Henry Gregory, First Fed eral's president, presided at the shareholders meeting. He told the group that 1966 was an other good year for First Fed eral, with assets exceeding $21,500,000, and reserves In excess of 91,564,000. Both net savings and net loans also In creased during the year, and savers were paid over $750, 000. Gregory pointed out that be cause of careful and conserva tive policies consistently ad hered to In previous years, First Federal entered 1966 with a high degree of liquidity, which enabled It to maintain a steady flow of home loans throughout the year. In his report, Gregory out lined numerous programs Ini tiated or continued during the year to provide more complete and efficient service for First Federal customers. Gregory highly praised the progress of the Lou Is burg unit, under the management of Frank A. Read, Jr. and Mrs. Emma D. Davis, and the con tribution made by the Louls burg Advisory Committee.
