officiating at the double-ring
ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of
Mrs. Ella P. Rogers and the
late Mr. Rogers of Route one,
Youngsvllle and the groom,
the son of Mr. and Mrs. Will
Washington Eason, Jr. of
Route one, Rocky Mount.
Wedding music was presen
ted by Miss Sue Carol Johnson
of Bunn.
The church was decorated
with a basket of small Uly
of-the valley and white chry
santhemums. White candela
bra were used at either side
of the church altar.
The bride, given In marriage
by her brothers, James Ronald
Rogers of Zebulon and Jerry
Allen Rogers of Youngsvllle,
wore a dress of white bridal
satin with lace appliques down
the center. The dress was
sheath with tulip cut at the
bottom and featured bridal
buttons In the back and at the
sleeve-tips . The neckline was
of a high quality with no collar
and the cape train extended
from the shoulders, ending In
a v-shaped chapel length train.
Her headpiece was of small
beads with elbow length Illus
ion and she carried a bouquet
of white roses and baby lllles
af-the valley.

ter of Youngsvllle was her sis
ter's matron of honor. Miss
Cella Kay Rogers of Youngs
vllle, sister of the bride, and
Mrs. Lou Everett of Rocky
Mount were bridesmaid. They
wore street length dresses of
fern green bonded crepe fash
ioned with A-llne skirts.
Their headpieces and shoes
were of matching moss green
and they carried golden chry
santhemums and moss green
ivy with matching moss green
ribbon.
The bride's mother wore a
sheath navy knit suit with navy
and white accessories and a
corsage of white carnations.
The groom's mother wore a
sheath floral suit of blue and
matching hat and blue acces
sories. Her flowers were
white carnations.
Mr. Eason served as his

MRS. WALTER GERALD EASON
The bride Is a 1962 graduate
of Youngsville High School, a
1965 graduate ot Park View
School of Nursing and Is em
ployed at Park View School ot
Nursing as Nurse Instructor.
The groom graduated In 1960
at Cooper's High School,
Rocky Mount and in 1965 from
the Pharmacy School, Univer
sity of North Carolina. He Is
employed as pharmacist and
manager of Thompson's Phar
macy of Rocky Mount.
The couple will reside at 118
S. Grace Street, Rocky Mount.
Cake Cutting
Following the wedding re
hearsal the cake cutting was
held at the home of Mr. and
Mrs. Robert O. Lancaster of
YoungsVllle. The house was
decorated with pink and white
arrangements to correspond
with the wedding cake which
was decorated with pink ahd
white flowers.
The wedding gifts were dis
played In the den.
Refreshments of pink fruit
punch, ham biscuits, roasted
nuts, and bridal mints were
served.

the guests arrived they auto
graphed a brides lace trimmed
register which was decorated

Miss Hall was presented a
red carnation corsage and a
wedding gift of lingerie from
the hostesses.. After several
games were played the hon
oree was given a Valentine
with attached red cord which
led her to the showers of gifts.
In the den where gifts were
displayed, red camellias were
used In decorating.
Guests were Invited to the
dining room for refreshments
of strawberry punch, a variety
of fancy sandwiches, Iced and
decorated cookies, jam tarts,
and nuts. The serving table
was centered with a bride doll
standing under a red net heart
shaped arch.
