Church, the Young People of
the church conducted the ser
vice on Sunday evening, No
vember 12, under the guidance
of Church Minister Rev. L.
Jervals Phillips.
A five part message, based
on the book of Genesis, was
presented by five of the young
people Including Rodney Ro
berts, Carol Mitchell, Brenda
Sanders, Janet Pearce, and
Rhonda Strickland.
Glenn Evans presided at the
service and Mark Woodlief
served as pianist. Special
music was by the Girls Chorus
of the church.
On other Sunday evenings
during each month, special
programs are being planned;
in addition to regular wor
ship services conducted by
the pastor. The special ser
vices will be conducted by
various age groups of the
church. Everyone is urged
to attend all services.

Cemetery, Nashville.
He Is survived by his wife,
Mrs. Maggie G. Lancaster
one daughter, Mrs. Herman
Robertson of Rocky Mount;
one son, E.J. Lancaster of
Hookerton; two sisters, Mrs.
Lizzie Murphy of Wilson and
Mrs. John Adylette of Atlanta,
Ga.; and eight grandchildren.
He was a retired farmer.
