The church was decorated In keeping with the Christmas season with emerald -ferns and red polnsettlas. The white arch, used just back of the white satin covered prle-dleu, was decorated with entwining ferns and red satin bows. The cathedral veil was of illusion which fell to the floor and formed a train, giving the mantilla look, was made of ChaiSllly lace sent to the bride from Germany by the groom. CAKE CUTTING Following the rehearsal, on Thursday Evening, Mrs. Elmo Gasklll and Miss Helen Shearon, aunts of the bride entertained at a cake cutting In the Fellowship Hall for the wedding party, families of the bride and groom, and special guests. A green and white motif was used throughout the room. The table was centered with a bridal arrangement of white mums and gladlolas centered with white tapers. A traditional fruit cake was served by Mrs. Wheless as sisted by Mrs. Raymond May. Punch was (poured by Mrs. Clark assisted lay- Mrs. Eleanor Wheless. The ceiling high Christmas tree was trim med with golden satin balls and gold lights. A unique ef? feet was given the tree by a covering of Angel Hair. The serving table was cov ered wHh a lace tablecloth over green linen, and featured a silver candelabra holding ah* arrangement of red car nations and greenery. Sliver serving arrangements were used. The buffet table Included chicken salad, pine apple, cream cheese, pimento and olives spreads, cucumber canapes on green and red party breads, crackers with blue and amerlcap cheese, po tato chips, bugles, assorted dips, nuts, cheese straws, Christmas cookies, fruit cake and candy.
