will host a District Meeting of county
officials from seven counties on Wed
nesday, April 3. Mr. Oeorge Klrkland,
Chairman, will welcome commis
sioners, .attorneys, accountants, wel
fare directors and other county of
ficials from Durham, Franklin, Gran
ville, Person, Vance, Wake and War
ren counties.
This meeting, the eighth In a series
of Fourteen District Meetings
scheduled by the North Carolina As
sociation of County Commissioners,
will begin at 1.-00 p.m. at the Voyager
Inn In Durham. Members of the As

meeting place from 10:00 a.m. to 12:
