The Fr in Times All Of PimIiIm CnM| Page 9 Thursday, December 12, 1968 99th Year-Number 86 Husband Of Local Gets Top Post The appointment to two top administrative post at Davidson County Community College has been announced by Dr. Grady E. Love. Presi dent of the College. Dr. William Elliott Inabi nett has been named Dean of Instruction at the college fill ing the vacancy created re cently by the death of Wil liam Taylor Sinclair. Inabi nett had served as Associate Dean of Academic Programs at the college. Dr. Roy K. Patteson has been named Associate Dean of Academic Programs. He has been head of the social studies department since coming here from Peace Col lege. Raleigh last August. Inabinett, a native of Mar ion, South Carolina, received his B.S. and M.A. degrees from East Carolina University and the EdD from Duke Uni versity where he was a mem ber of Kappa Delta Pi. He has taught mathematics and coached in Virginia and North Carolina public schools. He has also had ex perience in construction and heavy equipment operations. He is married to the form er Joyce Mustian of Louis burg, who teaches English at Ledford High School near Thomasville. They live on Raeford Avenue in Lexington and are members of First Methodist Church. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. O. E. Inabinett of Halifax. Inabinett is President of the Central District, Com munity College Division of the North Carolina Education Association. < Dr. Patteson, who headed the social studies division at Peace College, Raleigh, before coming here, is a native of Richmond, Virginia. He re ceived his education at the University of Richmond, Vir ginia and the BD degree at Union Theological Siminary of Richmond. He earned his Master's and PhD at Duke University in biblical language and literature. In 1964 he studied histori cal geography and archaeol ogy at St. George's College in Jerusalem, Jordan. This past summer Dr. Pat teson had a research fellow ship at Duke University with the Institute of Medieval and Renaissance Studies, sponsor ed by the Ford Foundation. He investigated the relation of Martin Luther's German bible translation to the then available Greek, Latin and Hebrew text. He has served as pastor at Pittsboro where he was mem ber of the Orange Presbytery, Synod of North Carolina.
