Year's Eve were presented noisemakers by their host and hostess as they entertained friends at a holiday party. At midnight. New Year's greetings were .extended to the sound of horns and whistles. Holiday decorations I of gold and green provided a festive setting for the casion. The golden Christmas tree was trimmed with satin orna ments of matching shades. Complimentary arrangements were used in both living rooms. 'The buffet- menu included hot rolls with chicken salad. - ^Biiiy twirls, meat" ball* In hot sauce, cheeses, fruit cake and other tempting foods. The serving table was cov ered with a sheer green cloth draped with - gold bows. Perched atop an ornament*! _ globe on the table was the7 traditional New year's Baby. Decorations in the dining room continued the chosen motif There were approximately fifty guests in attendance to see the new year in.
