Comments from educators indicate we are getting through to the small percentage who give the young generation such a black eye. , "When such a student hears from a professional that needlessly spinning wheels is the mark of a juvenile and would cause a race driver to be sidelined, that "showoff" driving practices bar a racer from competing, he identifies with the driver and in a great many instances changes 'his bad driving habits," Mr. Stranahan continued. Whenever possible, a film is part of the presentation. The color movie was made last May at Indianapolis and the Orange County drag strip in California and shows the extent drivers, mechanics and speedway officials go to in sure safe race conditions.
