Deaton Silver Award to Mn. John Willi for the Loo* burg Garden Club for being the garden dub in the state to contribute the raost to a scholarship fund at State versity to aid any worthy studenu who are studying landscaping or horticulture. The Louisburg Garden Club was also awarded the Kay Zatiewicz Life member ship for the beet projects de signed and executed for rait inc money. A Sears winneT again this year, the Louisburg Garden Chib was to choaen for land scaping the new wing of the Franklin Memorial hkMpital and the installation of a sprinkler system. This contest it sponsored by the Sean Civic Improvement Com mittee with headquarters in Atlanta The Louisburg Garden Club yearbook woo a blue ribbon in District X and honorable mention in the state.
