Youngsville Baptist Work Begins On Chapel Funds Youngsville ? A paving pro ject it being completed this week to provide more efficiency and convenience for motorists and pedestrians The entire driveway around the church has been paved, as well a* parking areas on both sides of the drive. There will be curb-like (tops for parked cars, and several short walk ways. Marked .parking spaces for cars will be painted on as soon as possible. One paved square area is large enough to be used for recreational pur po?s. Church members, with Rev. L. Jervais Phillips as Minister, are busy in prepara tion for a new year which begins October first. L. A. Woodlief has been named chairman of the nominating committee to recommend church and Sunday School officers who will be elected this month. Three deacons will also be elected this month in accordance with church rotating system for the board of deacons which is composed of nine members. The Forward Program of Church Stewardship will be conducted again this fall under the leadership of Rev. Phillips and the Steering Committee. With interst in The Chapel Fund for Franklin Memorial Hospital, the church here re cently made a one hundred dollar contribution.
