Check Tobacco Sales Cards Tobacco sales cards and bills should be checked after ?6ach sale to see that no errors exist. Producers marketing over 110% of their quota voluntarily or as a result of an error must pay 50 cents per pound for all pounds sold in excess of 110% of the quota. Also, cards should be return ed to the County Office when all sales are completed. These cards are needed to reconcile 1969 marketings and estab lish 1970 farm allotments and quotas. Time is rapidly running out for producers to sign up in the AC Program. The go vernment will help producers seed winter cover such as oats, wheat, rye, barley, fes cue, rye grass and crimson clover at a rate of $2.00 per acre. Funds remaining in our allocation are to be used for farms that are not signed up in the 1969 programs. Farmers who can qualify may borrow up to 85% of the cost of needed grain storage structures. Also, a maximum loan of 65% of the cost of needed drying equipment of $2,500.00, which ever is less may be approved. These loans are available through CCC and may be obtained for a five year period and repaid in 4 annual installments. Interested producers, should contact the County Office for more details.
