Brownie Scout
Have Party
Youngsville - At the
Brownie Scout Christmas
party held at the Scout Hut
Tuesday afternoon, the girls
had holiday excitement ex
changing Qiritmas gifts and
singing Christmas carols.
The party was give,n to the
Brownies by their troop lead
ers Mrs. Wesley Murphy and
Mrs. J. R. Sanders. Favors of
Santa Clans mugs holding
candy canes were given to
each Brownie. Refreshments
included punch, cupcakes,
Christmas cookies. Brownies
and potato chips.
A snowman decorated one
end of the serving table with
a Santa Claus at the other. A
Christmas tree was on the gift
table.
For their Christmas hand
craft the Brownies made and
decorated candlestick holders
to have at home for the holi
days.
