MARYLAND ELECTION. We announced in a postscript to our last, the triumphant victory of the Whigs in Baltimore. Since then, we have re ceived complete returns from the state. The Whigs have lost their Governor by 211 votes! a majority which Baltimore itself would have overcome, had not the aged and infirm Whig been prevented from voting by the rude violence at the polls, some account of which appears in an article subjoined to this paragraph. But what is of more consequence, inas much at it secures the election of a Whig Senator, our party have carried a majori ty in both branches of the Legislature.
