CLAMP1TT CHILD Oneita Lynn Clampitt, four year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Clampitt of Bryson Letter To The Editor Tears Today I awakened to a very dark and gloomy rainy day and I thought, “My how depressing!”, then I thought again of how rain can be compared to tears in our lives. When the earth is dry and bvarren, and fruits vannot bear, Jesus sends rain and everything begins to blossom. People are also like this. They go day after day with barren lives until something happens to make tears begin. Our lives then begin to take a1 turn for the better. We begin to look at things in a different light. Rain is sent to cleanse and revive things which are withering away. Tears are also sent for this purpose. Nothing worth while comes unless .we go through storms, trials, and floods of disappointment. I saw this in a bode I have, “When God puts a tear in your eye, it’s because he wants to ut a rainbow in your heart.” So today, if tears are falling just remember they are sent to renew aid revive our unfruitful lives.
